Business Continuity - Ontario Pension Fund

With billions of dollars in net assets, this Pension Plan is one of the largest and most successful in Canada. It serves
over 200,000 active members and pensioners from over 400 organizations in Ontario.

Supporting the General Counsel & SVP Governance, provided the following services:

· Update of the content of the exiting BCP to reflect changes in technology and business processes,

· Improvement of the data backup methods and tools to reduce RPO from days to minutes and improve RTO from 17
hours to three

· Modification of the BCP structure to align it with the industry best practices and to reduce maintenance effort by at
least 50%

· Streamlining of Crisis Management Plan to improve its usability and reduce training and maintenance requirements,

· Development of training material and conduct of Crisis Management Team training (the CMT consists of the C-level
management and their direct reports),

· Development of Pandemic BCP for the company and delivery of appropriate testing and training,

· Design and conduct of Enterprise Wide Test of Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans,

· Integration of BCP and DRP into the corporate Change Management processes,

· Facilitation of ongoing maintenance of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management Plans,

· Analysis of existing contracts with the Plan's vendors of business critical products and services and inclusion of BCP
& DRP clauses into these contracts.

These initiatives were managed as projects with clearly defined milestones and success criteria and were completed
on time and on budget
